1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Myworkingmemory LLC (Company, we, us) handles information when you use Lexicon Translator AI, an iOS app that translates speech between supported languages. Lexicon Translator AI is not intended for children under 13.
2. Information Lexicon Translator AI Processes
Microphone audio and the resulting source and translated transcripts while a translation session is active. When you tap Start Translation and grant microphone permission, the app sends that audio and the text needed to process it to OpenAI in real time to provide transcription, translation, and spoken output. You can stop this processing at any time by stopping translation or revoking microphone permission in iOS Settings.
Subscription status, product identifier, purchase status, and entitlement information supplied through Apple StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
A pseudonymous installation or entitlement identifier and connected-minute usage needed to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
Minimal operational events such as app launch, workflow start, completion, failure, paywall view, purchase outcome, restore outcome, app version, operating-system version, and coarse error category. These events must not include audio, transcripts, translated text, names, precise location, advertising identifiers, or Apple transaction identifiers.
3. How We Use Information
Provide and secure translation sessions.
Verify subscriptions and enforce monthly connected-minute allowances.
Diagnose failures and improve onboarding, reliability, conversion, and retention.
Comply with law, prevent fraud, and protect users and the Company.
4. Service Providers
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription management under Apple’s terms. OpenAI processes live audio and text to provide the AI translation service. Our hosting provider processes requests needed to issue short-lived session credentials and enforce usage limits. We will identify any analytics provider in this policy before enabling its software development kit in production.
We require service providers acting for us to protect user information consistently with this policy and applicable law. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in. OpenAI may retain API customer content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, subject to its applicable controls and legal obligations. The Company does not intentionally store microphone audio or transcript content in its analytics or usage ledger.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information to service providers acting for us, when required by law, during a business transaction, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Retention and Security
Audio and transcript content is not intentionally retained by the Company after the live session. OpenAI’s retention is described above. Subscription and usage records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for entitlement enforcement, accounting, security, disputes, and legal obligations. Operational analytics use the shortest useful retention period, initially no more than 13 months. No system is completely secure.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop audio processing by stopping translation or revoking microphone permission in iOS Settings. You can manage subscriptions through Apple. Where required, analytics will remain off until consent and can be disabled later. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection by contacting us. We may need information to verify a request.
8. International Processing
Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method, and the effective date will be updated.
